Access & Arrival

Maple Ridge is the final property on the Private Road, which services numbers 210, 210A, B, C and D. You’ll see a gated entrance with stone fencing.

• Drive up to the keypad and enter the code provided to open the gate

• Continue up the driveway and park near the garage

• The lock box containing the house keys is located at the back of the garage, on the left-hand side of the rear wall

• Walk around the garage near the clothesline to locate it

• Lock box code: is provided to you

The gate will automatically open for you when exiting the property.

Keys & Remotes

Your set includes:

• A key for the front door and laundry

• A second key for all other doors

• A garage remote

• A gate remote

Please ensure all keys and remotes are returned to the lock box upon check-out.

Locked “owners” cupboards

The corner pantry in the kitchen is reserved for the use of the owner. Please do not use this cupboard. There is one other locked kitchen cupboard and one in the laundry.

Outdoor Furniture

The furniture at the fire pit has covers on them. Please remove them to use and put the covers back on before you leave.

The outdoor furniture near the house is either covered or in the grey timber box. As we are in the country we have to have it covered. It can be left bout for the duration of your stay however please place it back before you leave.

Rubbish & Recycling

Bins are located outside the laundry door:

• Red bin: General waste

• Yellow bin: Recycling

Air Conditioning

There are two air-conditioning systems:

• Master Bedroom Wing: Controller located near the arched windows

• Pool Room Wing: Controller located in the hallway

Please ensure both systems are switched off when you depart.

Water

• Internal taps supply filtered rainwater, which is perfectly safe for drinking

• External taps are supplied with dam water and should not be used for drinking

Linen

• All bedlinen and bath towels are provided

• Pool towels are available on the kitchen/dining black console

Safety

A snake bite kit, first aid kit, and fire blanket are located in the kitchen.

As the property is set within beautiful bushland, please supervise children closely—particularly around long grasses, paddocks and the dams.

The nearest emergency hospital is Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital.

Vegetables & Herbs

You’re welcome to help yourself to any seasonal produce from the garden. If you’re feeling energetic, the vegetables are always grateful for a little extra watering.

E-Bikes

Two e-bikes and helmets are available in the garage for use around the property or into town.

• The bikes are fully charged; chargers have been removed for safety

• Battery life is long and unlikely to run out during your stay

• Please ride safely and at your own risk

Kitchen

The pantry is stocked with spices, sauces and some pantry staples—please feel free to use anything you need.

Please note: there is one locked cupboard for our personal items - this is the corner pantry.

Outdoor Screens

There are screens which come down around the outdoor sitting area if needed for shade. The remove for these is in the kitchen on the wall next to the bench. There is a switch for them at the doors of the sunken lounge.

Fireplace & Fire Pit

• Fire starters are located in the kitchen pantry

• Firewood is stored near each fire, with additional wood available to the right of the garage

• When the indoor fireplaces are on, you can distribute heat throughout the house using the fan controls located in the master bedroom and the hallway.

Fire Pit Furniture

The outdoor couches may be moved and arranged around the fire pit as you wish. Please ensure the covers are put back on before you depart.

Barbecue

Please enjoy the barbecue during your stay.

• Wheel it to the edge of the tiled area to allow smoke and heat to vent safely

• A spare gas bottle is available in the garage if required

• Please wheel it back under cover before you depart.

Cooking Appliances

Induction Cooktop

• Press ON

• Select the desired element

• Use the numbered controls to set the heat level

Oven

• Press ON

• Scroll to select a function (we typically use General)

• Select the temperature and press OK

Note: The temperature display may appear incorrect until you press OK. Once activated, the correct temperature will display and can be adjusted.

TV

Use the TV remote to choose HDMI 4. Turn the Apple TV on using the Apple Remote - press the menu button

From here, scroll to your favourite app. The TV remote can be used for volume.

Pool Table

Children must be supervised at all times when using the pool table.

Paddocks & Cows

Feel free to explore the paddocks and creek area surrounding the property. Cows may be grazing at times; they are not aggressive, however please do not attempt to pat or approach them.

Bottom Shed

The black shed to the west of the property is not accessible and is not for guest use.

Beaches

• Seven Mile Beach (10–15 minutes’ drive, via Beach Road in Berry) is the closest beach and is unpatrolled

• Gerringong Beach (approximately 15 minutes’ drive) is the nearest patrolled beach
